PRIVACY POLICY
theVita4.com is owned and operated byVita 4, LLC under President Jill Gaudelli. At Vita 4sm, our purpose and goal is to teach children the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through fun and engaging videos. We will welcome our visitors more warmly, entertain more creatively, help parents to parent more effectively and treat guests with the utmost respect. And we take the issue of privacy very seriously. We respect the privacy of children, and do not collect any more personal information than is reasonably necessary to enable them to participate in the activities we offer at our Web sites.
Kids: Be sure to ask your parents for permission before you send any information about yourself (your name, address, e-mail address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the Internet.
Parents and Guardians: We encourage you to get involved with your children's online usage and to be aware of the activities in which they are participating. While we welcome all of our guests to enjoy the many features of our site, we encourage you to limit your children's time online. When used properly, the Internet can be entertaining and educational. But even we at the Vita 4 realize that there is a lot more to a well-balanced life than an animated rock band.
When you or your child visits our sites, we automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information, such as the type of computer operating system (e.g., Windows 98 or Mac OS) and browser (e.g., Netscape or Internet Explorer) that you use, and the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink). (See "Cookies," below.) We use this information to improve the design and content of our site, and to enable us to personalize your Internet experience. We also may use this information in the aggregate to analyze site usage and to offer you products, programs or services. We do not share any personal information with anyone other than those who provide support for the internal operations of the Web sites, and our agents (e.g., contractors who provide fulfillment services, such as credit card processing, product order processing, or technical support to the Web site). All such agents or contractors with whom we share information have agreed to maintain the security and integrity of personal information.
Security: We have in place appropriate safeguards to secure the very limited personal information we receive from our visitors for the limited time it is in our possession. We use industry standard security measures, such as SSL, to protect any sensitive information (such as credit card information) that you may provide to us to access some of our services.
Off-Site Links: theVita4.com generally avoids linking from our Web sites to other sites. Occasionally, we will use other websites for educational infomation. These sites have been screened for appropriate content for children, however we can not guarantee the content of other such sites. Again, we encourage parents to monitor or otherwise be involved in your children's online usage. We may also provide links to newsworthy information or articles about the Vita 4 that may be of interest to thevita4.com site visitors. Furthermore, we offer the visitor the option to view our video clips through third-party software, such as Apple QuickTime. We do not make representations and warranties as to other sites' content or information collection policies.
